1. Nature of Our Services

Our services are personalized astrological readings prepared manually by our astrologer, Premadasa Kaluthanthiri, based on the principles of Indian Astrology. Each reading is custom-made using the unique birth details (date, time, and place of birth) provided by the client.

Because each reading is individually prepared and time-intensive, refunds are subject to the specific conditions outlined in this policy.

2. Refund Eligibility
a) Refunds Are Available When:
  • The service has not yet been started at the time of your refund request
  • We are unable to deliver the service due to reasons attributable to us
  • A technical error or duplicate payment has occurred during your transaction
  • The service delivered is substantially different from what was originally agreed upon
b) Refunds Are NOT Available When:
  • The reading has already been prepared and delivered to you
  • You provided inaccurate or incomplete birth details, resulting in a reading you are not satisfied with
  • You change your mind after the reading has been completed
  • You disagree with the content or predictions of the reading (astrological readings are interpretive in nature and outcomes cannot be guaranteed)
  • The request is made after 7 days from the date of delivery
3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us within 7 days of your original payment or service delivery date with the following information:

  • Your full name as used during the order
  • Date of payment and order/reference number (if available)
  • The email address or phone number used at the time of booking
  • A clear reason for the refund request
  • Any supporting evidence (e.g., proof of duplicate payment)

4. Refund Processing Time

Once your refund request is received and reviewed:

  • We will respond within 5–7 business days with a decision
  • If approved, refunds will be processed within 10–14 business days through the original payment method
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, additional time may be required for the refund to reflect in your account
  • Bank transaction charges, if any, will be deducted from the refund amount
5. Returns of Physical Items

If you have purchased printed publications, books, or hardcopy reading reports from us, the following return conditions apply:

Returns Are Accepted If:

  • The item is damaged or defective upon arrival
  • You have received the wrong item
  • The return request is made within 7 days of receiving the item

Returns Are NOT Accepted If:

  • The item shows signs of use, damage, or alteration by the customer
  • The item is a personalized printed reading (these cannot be resold and are non-returnable)
  • The request is made after 7 days of delivery

Return Procedure:

  1. Contact us via email or phone within 7 days of receiving the item
  2. Provide photos and a description of the issue
  3. Upon approval, ship the item back to the address we provide
  4. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error
  5. Once we receive and inspect the item, a refund or replacement will be issued within 10–14 business days
6. Cancellations

You may cancel a service request under the following conditions:

  • Before work begins: Full refund will be issued
  • After work has started but before delivery: A partial refund may be considered, with deductions for time and effort already invested
  • After delivery: Cancellations are not accepted, and no refund will be issued

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received a refund within the expected timeframe:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company or bank — it may take additional time before the refund is officially posted

8. Non-Refundable Services

The following are strictly non-refundable:

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of a delivered reading, please contact us to discuss your concerns. While we cannot guarantee the outcomes of astrological predictions, we are committed to ensuring our service delivery meets the standards we promise. In genuine cases of service-quality issues, we may offer:

  • A review or revision of the reading
  • A partial credit toward a future service
  • Other reasonable resolutions at our discretion

10. Force Majeure

Barana shall not be liable to issue refunds for delays or non-delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Internet or postal service disruptions
  • Government restrictions or lockdowns
  • Health emergencies affecting our astrologer

In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or deliver the service as soon as reasonably possible.
